Network & Security Development Engineer

Job description

You are a key player in value creation through the development, design, and implementation of new or modified software products for the automation of network/security operations. You play an active role in supporting the data science-related activities of the division.

Your Duties Include

• Develop, design, and implement new or modified software products for automating network/security operations.
• Support data science-related activities within the division.
• Create, develop, and implement solutions for infrastructure and security requirements.
• Design and implement CI/CD solutions for build automation.
• Ensure service uptime and response time SLAs/OLAs are met or surpassed.
• Participate in bridge calls with team members and contractors/vendors to address problems quickly.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain.

Profile

• Experience in software design, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Design REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Excellent knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Golang is desired
• Design Web Applications
• Very good knowledge of GNU/Linux operating system
• Knowledge of secure development framework/principles (like OWASP or SSDF)

Professional requirements

• 5 years of development experience with a strong interest in Network Security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• Project Management skills
• Network and Security certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is a plus
• Problem-solving, Leadership, Customer orientation, and Organizational skills

Languages

Now, in order to blend in, socially and professionally, we certainly recommend the following languages:

• Fluent in English, French, and German are a plus
• Any other languages are welcome - we have 29 so far in the company, if you wish to add the 30th, you pretty much know what to do.
