Position:

Are you a (junior) client relationship manager from private wealth management, family office, Big 4 or a bank? If you're thinking of a fulfilling new job for 2025, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a leading, global institution who are growing their Middle East footprint and going from strength to strength in terms of client coverage in this region. Perhaps you are at a bank in Zurich or Geneva today and looking for a fresh challenge? Coming in at the level that would be equivalent to Associate, you will have gained your relevant client relationship experience over the last 3 to 4 years and are looking to take this to the next level. The position is based in Zurich, but at a push, could also be accommodated out of our Client's Geneva office. Supporting a key, senior client relationship manager/business developer, you will help to organise him and work closely together to manage the client portfolio.

Tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Building trusted relationships with clients and and providing excellent follow-up service and sound advice to ensure that their affairs and wealth structures are taken care of and aligned to their commercial and risk objectives
  • With a market focus on the Middle East, this role could include identifying business opportunities from new and existing clients, with a particular focus on internationally mobile HNWI's and privately owned fast growth start up/scale up businesses at all stages of their business life cycle
  • Administrative and compliance-related tasks as regards account-opening, passing orders and trades etc

The role would suit a hands-on, muck-in person who is used to dealing with clients but also happy to help out on the necessary administration that goes with it. Goes without saying, this position requires knowledge and experience dealing with clients from the Middle East. A chance to really consolidate your private client/ wealth management experience within a very successful, close-knit and collegial team with a great bunch of people. A small, but well-established office offering a more human-sized place to work as well as the chance to be part of a meritocratic, fast-paced environment where you work very hard but are also rewarded well in terms of potential career progression.

Profile:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Around 3-5 years' relevant experience from a Big 4, Bank or Family Office for example
  • An international background dealing with HNW private clients from the Middle East
  • Exposure to trusts and fiduciary services a plus but not a must
  • A pro-active team player, able to work independently with little guidance - not afraid to be curious, go the extra mile, ask questions, seek for information, take initiative
  • Used to working in a fast-paced, international environment a must
  • Is highly organized and works well even under pressure, a "muck in" sort of person
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and maturity to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management within the Group, third party professionals as well as very demanding clients

  • Shares information and knowledge in a collaborative manner
  • Excellent MS Office skills, to include Excel
  • Already resident locally, or compelling reasons for moving to Zurich (or Geneva)
  • Eligible for Swiss work permit (meaning Swiss, EU, EFTA nationals or equivalent only)
