The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the entire IT, system and network infrastructure of the organization.
Our client is Public Services International (PSI) is a Global Union Federation of more than 700 trade unions representing 30 million workers in 154 countries. We defend trade union and workers' rights and fight for universal access to quality public services. PSI works with the United Nations system and in partnership with labour, civil society and other organisations. PSI has three Regional Hubs and offices in 15 countries globally.
Description
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the entire IT and network infrastructure of the organization. This is a pivotal role, particularly as we are in the midst of a significant technological transformation. This person will lead the IT department, overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term strategic projects. A key focus will be on the overhaul of our internal CRM system, as well as identifying and implementing solutions to ensure that data is readily accessible to key decision-makers across the organization. Your mission will be to help the confederation reach a new technological milestone, creating an environment where technology empowers employees and streamlines operations, using a very hands-on approach.

IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee and manage the organization's entire IT infrastructure, including network, hardware, and software systems.
Project Management:
Lead and implement key IT projects, including the complete transformation of the internal CRM system and other digital initiatives.
Network Modernization:
Spearhead ongoing changes to the organization's network infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Data Management & Accessibility:
Develop solutions to improve data accessibility across the organization, enabling quicker and more informed decision-making.
Strategic Technology Leadership:
Play a key role in shaping the IT strategy of the organization to support long-term goals.
Technology-Driven Solutions:
Be a driving force in integrating new technologies to streamline daily operations and improve user experience.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments and regions to ensure IT systems are aligned with the needs of the organization and its global staff.
User Support:
Provide expert IT support and solutions to staff across multiple regions, ensuring that all employees have access to reliable and efficient systems.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Propose innovative ideas and continuous improvements to optimize processes and IT services.
Supervision:
The position reports to the Head of Global Operations.
No staff management
Cross-functional links:
The position will work in close collaboration with all departments at the head office, and in the regional and sub-regional offices.
Profile
Education:
Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Technical Skills:
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Systems : M365, AD, Serveurs, Azure etc...
Experience with network tools : Firewall, Switchs, routeurs
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably, preferably in an NGO, international organization, or union context
Proven ability to lead and implement organisation-wide IT transformations
Experience with MS Business Central is an asset
Languages:
Ability to write and speak fluently in English and French is essential.
