The Legal Services department acts as the point of contact on legal matters to all business segments and stakeholders of the EHL Group worldwide, protecting the Group’s interests and allowing it to achieve its goals while always complying with applicable laws and regulations.

The mission of the Legal Counsel is to provides legal advice in all relevant areas of law, defines legal and contractual processes, manages claims, and decides on the engagement of outside counsels where needed. Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, this position has both a local and an international scope of activity in a wide range of legal areas, with particular emphasis on data protection.
What will you do?
- Manage and be a center of expertise for data protection matters.
- Counsel on legal matters to the Group’s business segments on various legal areas, including in academic, scientific, IT, financial, procurement, and business-related matters.
- Draft and negotiate contracts (NDA’s, IT services contracts, partnership agreements, mandates – consulting agreements, etc.).
- Advice on general legal matters in diverse fields of law.
Who you are?
- You have a Master degree of Swiss law / Swiss bar admission preferred.
- You have 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- You have strong command of Swiss and European data protection laws and regulations.
- You are experienced in contracts drafting and negotiation.
- You have excellent general legal skills (including understanding of public laws).
- You are an effective communicator with well-developed team collaboration skills.
- You are self-driven and results-oriented.
- You have good understanding of commercial objectives.
- You have a strong interest in new technologies, which is a plus.
- You have for mother tongue French and you are fluent in English (C1).
