Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.
The Strategic Project Manager will work closely with the President of Explora Journeys, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of initiatives across the organisation. This strategic role is crucial in driving the company's overall objectives and streamlining operations across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, operational and commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of excellence. The position is based out of our Headquarters in Geneva.
• Manage and oversee the execution of all strategic projects, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Facilitate communication and act as a liaison between the President and internal teams, preparing presentations, analysis and reports for meetings.
• Analyse current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to support the company's strategic initiatives.
• Join the President in meetings or during travels, take notes, create and communicate action plans to necessary stakeholders afterwards
• Lead special projects and initiatives, driving new business opportunities and innovations to strengthen market position
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5 years of professional experience, preferably in luxury travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.
• Strong background in project management and strategic planning.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Master of the MS Office Suite
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or other European language is a plus.
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
