We are seeking a highly skilled Labour Regulations Advisor who will be part of the Country HR team and give advice and expertise in legislative topics pertaining to employment in Switzerland, especially regarding Swiss individual and collective labour law, legal aspects of compensation and benefits and legal aspects of cross-border employment as well as the Swiss social security legislation.
How you`ll make an impact
- Facilitating Social Dialogue: Support the Country HR Manager in the preparation and follow-up of meetings with employee representative bodies in Switzerland, such as the works council and the unions to ensure constructive social dialogue and efficient management of social elections
- Advisory Role: Provide consultative support covering all aspects of Swiss HR law to HR, employees and managers on issues related to HR policy and legal procedures
- Contract Law: Together with Legal, contribute to the maintenance and updating of employment contract and other templates, manage the template library, and draft and review processes
- HR Policy Management: Assist in updating Country HR policies and Swiss work regulations, including drafting new HR policies and revising existing ones. Own and develop the HR LER Policy Hub
- Legislative Monitoring: Keep track of developments in HR legislation that impact the HR department to ensure compliance. Own the Quarterly HR LER News Ticker and develop further
- Communication: Draft and review HR department communications related to legal aspects
- Training: Prepare and support the creation of training sessions on labour legislation
- Projects: Manage projects in your area of responsibility
Your background
- You have a university degree at BA level and substantial postgraduate training in Swiss Law and/or HR
- You have various years of relevant professional experience with a minimum or 4 years of experience in similar position, coming from Big4 consultancy or inhouse preferably in an international environment in Switzerland
- You are an expert in Swiss employment law
- You have a passion for human resources challenges
- You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a team but can also work perfectly autonomous
- You are business-oriented with a creative mindset!
- Fluent in German and English, French & Italian are a plus
