Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Human Resources Management Intern to join our luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to support our HR team with administrative tasks and processes. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a fast-paced, international environment. This role is based in the office out of our Headquarters in Geneva.
• Minimum of 5 years hospitality sales experience with a desired 2 years working for luxury brand(s)
• Proven track record in luxury industry related sales and revenue growth
• Excellent Sales network, solid contact base and high knowledge of partners/key accounts in region
• Strong planning, organisational and budgeting skills
• Manage time records, work certificates, attestations, and leaver reports.
• Prepare induction packs, distribute documents, and handle administrative tasks like business cards, work permits, and parking contracts.
• Help maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to the creation and delivery of internal communication materials, such as newsletters, announcements, or presentations.
• Collaborate on engagement initiatives, such as employee events, surveys, or recognition programs.
• Assist in the coordination of training and development activities, including scheduling and feedback collection.
• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program is required.
• Degree or Master in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn about HR functions in a global organization.
• Passionate about luxury hospitality and creating exceptional employee experiences.
