Job Description Summary
As part of the UKI Business Operations team, the Data & Insights Analyst role provides in-depth reporting and detailed analysis to gain meaningful insights into the underlying drivers of performance for the UKI organisation. In this role, you will apply your advanced analytical skills to drive and support improvements across the UKI organisation by providing comprehensive data-led insights to our wider teams. This will involve the extraction, thorough analysis, and clear presentation of data from multiple sources using various techniques. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive commercial business support for our Inside Sales and other functions, ensuring detailed insights into sales performance drivers to advise strategic decision-making.

Main responsibilities will include:
Reporting
- Design, validate and provide a suite of reporting and provision of analytical tools to meet to support BDX Directors/Managers and their teams as well as the wider BU and Business Partner teams.
- Understand how the data feeds in from various sources to review reporting for BDX team and drive improvements to develop and simplify the reporting structure currently in place
- Ensure that reports are presented in a consistent and clear manner for all those involved
- Help those using the reports to understand how they work by providing training
- Continuously seek to improve/optimise utilisation of all the tools/systems we have available to use (including Power BI, Edge 2.0, SFDC, Excel etc) and be aware of what is being developed within the wider EMEA organisation.
- Working towards having one source of truth for all business reporting
- Conduct detailed analysis of all reports and use this to support BDX Functions, Business Units and customer-facing teams
- Work with analysis recipients to ensure that data is clearly understood, and appropriate and informed actions are taken
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process
- Understand and communicate the direction of the business areas in BDX
- Working with the wider BDX Insights team to provide analysis relating to Commercial Excellence initiatives including Strategic Accounts, Inside Sales, SFDC Insights, Customer Success
Communication
- Ensure regular and timely publication of relevant reports and analysis work to the wider UKI business
- Be the point of contact for BDX reporting
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders and use analytical insight to advise strategic and tactical decisions
- Prepare analysis and slide decks for key meetings as required
Training/Other Support
- Design and provide training as required for BDX reporting
- Work across the wider Business Operations team to work together as a strong team to support the UKI organisation drive profitable growth and improve customer experience
- Support Simplification projects and continuous improvement efforts
About you
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an analytical role with Power BI expertise, demonstrating proficiency in data visualisation and reporting
- Proven track record of delivering impactful analyses in a clear and concise manner, effectively communicating complex data insights to diverse audiences
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerBI), with the ability to leverage multiple data sources and technologies
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for continuous improvement, driving process optimisation and operational excellence
- Experience of working in large and complex matrix organisations.
- Knowledge of basic financial and commercial concepts desirable.
