Your Role at Baxter:
As A2R Inventory and Manufacturing Specialist for our Americas region, you will be responsible for overseeing the process for commercial and manufacturing entities. You will coordinate and execute processes end to end, interface with a broad spectrum of Finance and non-Finance personnel globally – both in the businesses and across BBS functions such as Intercompany, P2P, Payroll, FP&A, FPO, Internal and External Auditors. Excellent top-level exposure to the Inventory performance of Baxter/Vantive and each of its businesses
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review supporting documentation and posted charges for completeness and accuracy. Identify missing / inaccurate information and gather / correct, as necessary in accordance with A2R, Finance Policy, Internal Control, USGAAP guidelines.
- Complete quality review of critical spreadsheets files to ensure compliance with business process, control point, rules and regulations.
- Generate A2R reporting for commercial and manufacturing accounts to support risk analysis, priorities and coordinate with the team the accurate and timely investigation.
- Perform Profit in Inventory (PII) end to end process, timely and accurate for commercial and manufacturing entities.
- Perform processes inherent to manufacturing and commercial inventories.
- Conduct internal assessment regularly.
- Perform necessary follow-up functions for timely processing and open cases resolutions.
- Reference policies/procedures assigned to this role and maintain knowledge with changes in regulations and company policy and procedures.
- Identify any areas of opportunity for improved documentation or efficiency in daily work and communicate back to Area Supervisor and or Manager.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
- Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.
- Provide audit support as needed.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual closing processes.
- Prepare and/or manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.
- Perform and/or approve inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- 4 plus years of relevant work experience in Inventory accounting. Manufacturing Experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or Share Service.
- Strong technical, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications
- Must be proficient in Excel (Power Queries). Tableau is a plus.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2+).
- Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays
