An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Accounting & Financial Reporting Professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and play a key role in the Finance department, making the bridge between business operations and financial reporting with the ultimate goal to contribute for a high-quality financial reporting. This role is based in the office out of our Headquarters in Geneva.
• Understand business operations and financial reporting process
• Perform analytical review procedures over balance sheet and P/L accounts, including data analytics activities over business processes
• Contribute to implementing, maintaining and enhancing key control activities over financial reporting processes, including making recommendations for improvements
• Leverage Group’s Shared Service Center involvement and impact in the financial reporting process
• Liaise with business operations and IT to continuously enhance the quality of the financial reporting
• Participate in strategic finance transformation projects
• Collaborate with external auditors
• Participating in ad hoc projects; provides ad hoc reports
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Finance or similar
• 2-4 years working experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Motivation to learn in a fast moving, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
• Proactive and collaborative team player with the ability to bring projects to completion as per expectations
• Experience in data analytics and with SAP is a plus
