Graduate program (GDP) Quality in Biopharma Manufacturing
Our Graduate’s program aims to develop the professional knowledge of graduates through a learning and practical journey at UCB, where Graduates can collaborate with diverse teams such as the Allergy, Neurology and Immunology Product Streams and Supply Chain department and be part of our Graduate Community
This position is a great opportunity for young graduates to start their career in the pharmaceutical & biotechnology manufacturing field and shape their professional journey in this scientific environment that could lead to an exciting future at UCB.
Two graduate journeys are never the same… and this one is a particularly exciting one! Here is what we have imagined for you
A unique 24-month program (3 mission of 8 months each) in our manufacturing site in Bulle, Switzerland.
Discovery of 3 different teams within the Quality department:
- Data Integrity:
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of critical data used in manufacturing processes.
- By drawing data flow and determine the critical data integrity paths
- Support the implementation of systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Support computerized system validation (CSV) harmonization
- Review of CSV deliverable focused on data integrity aspects
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize data management and QA review
- Develop a statistical approach to improve the data integrity compliance through manufacturing processes
- Quality Suppliers and Raw Materials:
- Actively participate in the projects linked to introduction/modification of materials and suppliers
- Implementation of a continuous improvement project to optimize ways of working inside the department
- Collaborate with QC Raw material, Supply Chain and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Quality Operations:
- Oversee daily quality-related activities in manufacturing operations.
- Analyze trends and data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement action plans to ensure the quality of our products.

Ideally, this is what your background looks like. However, we are happy for you to challenge us that you’re the right one for this job even if these boxes are not really ticked:
- Recently graduated from a healthcare, pharmacist, chemistry, life science or related field, and/or has relevant experience in the life science & digital fields
- Possesses good understanding of statistics
- Effective communication and project management skills
- Values in line with those of UCB is an essential leadership component
- Good English spoken & written skills is a must
