The development teams at Scandit build cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning solutions. Our mission is to replace every laser scanner in the world with a Scandit-powered mobile app and improve the workflows of our customers through augmented reality and mapping solutions.
At Scandit, we develop real-time computer vision solutions for smartphones, wearables and robots that combine modern machine learning approaches with computer vision. To expand our engineering team, we are looking for a QA Tester.
This position can be both part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.
What You Will Do
As a QA Tester at Scandit, you will get exposure to a lot of different projects and products our engineering works on. You will help us in improving quality through multiple teams, projects and products. You will be responsible for the quality awareness of your assigned development team and will help them to improve reporting, test coverage and test execution for our SDK and core products.
As a part of our Test Engineering team, you will be helping us with the final sign offs on the quality of every release, from the start of a new requirement until the release of the new features, ensuring that our products live up to our customers’ expectations for mission-critical applications. To this end, you will be working closely not only with our existing Test Engineering team, but also with developers, designers and product managers.
Who You Are
- You are passionate about good software quality and curious on how to improve it further
- You have some experience testing mobile and/or web applications and/or API’s
- You have great communication and problem-solving skills
- You connect easily with new people and you are not afraid to ask a lot of questions
- You are thorough and pay attention to detail
- You have basic understanding of agile working environments and of software development life cycle
- You enjoy working in an international team and dream big
