Janssen Vaccines in Bern (Switzerland) belongs to the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Janssen is an organization of over 40,000 professionals working passionately to prevent, treat, cure and stop some of the most devastating and complex diseases of our time. In Bern, about 400 people of over 25 nationalities work together with the wider Janssen organization and partners on the development, manufacturing and analytical testing of novel vaccines and bacteria-based pharmaceutical products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide business insights through reliable supply/demand/actual data analysis, forecasting and reporting, with uncompromising focus on data quality
- Provide activity-based resource planning support for site initiatives and capability improvement projects and functions to identify the internal effort (hours) and external cost associated with projects deliverables.
- Use fit-for-purpose planning processes and tools to support the functional delivery of project objectives within a complex organizational structure (cross-functional, cross-sites) and technical environment
- Routinely meet with functional and project stakeholders to ensure highest level of planning data quality, monitor supply-demand, identify potential bottlenecks and propose scheduling solutions
- Ensure plans are reviewed periodically; tracking, updating and making visible any changes in a timely manner and reporting the status as appropriate for relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the type of activities performed by the supported projects and departments and ensure that departments and projects follow standardized processes for planning activities and resource use
- Support continuous planning improvements and monthly reporting of KPIs and metrics
- Update the site's functional supply in collaboration with Department heads
- Support and champion best planning practices and continuous improvement
- Become an expert user of existing planning tools and may lead the implementation of new state-of-the-art planning tools and processes
- Application of Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team and stakeholders

Who we are looking for:
- Persistence, consistency and attention to detail, while not losing sight of the big picture
- Proactivity in anticipating and raising awareness of potential data quality issues
- Outstanding data analytics skills with mastering of Excel and ideally some experience or familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Business Objects
- Experience working with process analysis, drawing conclusions from complex sets of information and reporting findings through simple visualization
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own work slate
- Technical, science or analytics background and ability to become familiar with relevant functional capabilities
- Experience achieving critical targets within tight deadlines and/or limited resources
- PMP certification or PM training is desirable
- Experience with use or ideally implementation of planning systems, such as Microsoft Project, Planisware is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral English communication skills. German speaking is an asset
