JOB TITLE: Consumer Insights Executive
FUNCTION: Marketing
SUB-FUNCTION: Marketing – Insights, Analytics & Foresights
LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
- The Consumer Insights Executive is responsible for supporting the Insights team in implementing consumer, customer and competitor insights and foresights for Combustibles and New Categories.
- The role will support the execution of the insights plan and implement, manage and report on consumer research to drive the business towards consumer centricity and a single view of the consumer.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Assist in bringing the consumer perspective to marketing decision making by driving analysis and research activities (qualitative & quantitative) to consolidate insights and recommendations
- Scope & gather context from end market in order to prepare, effectively analyse and report on consumer insights delivering to business need
- Assist with leadng consumer research projects and syndicated studies ensuring on-time - in full delivery of outputs at defined quality standard
- Effectively manage stringent project timelines for a fast paced business environment through prioritising tasks and objectives in order to manage time and resources appropriately
- Support end-to-end management of research projects as required (including questionnaire design, programming, execution)
- Translate data & information into impactful insights & foresights and convey analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports to internal partners
- Support the team on insight generation through aggregation and synthesis of multiple studies and data sources conducted over a period of time
- Manage information systems, internal data and research reports, ensuring ease of accessibility across the organization
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Analytics or related field.
- At least 3 years prior experience within a similar role – market research / consumer insights
- Experienced in performing a range of qualitative and quantitative research
- Understanding of research methodologies and solid analytic skills including: ability to synthesize information, identify trends, reduce complexity and identify key opportunities.
- Strong analytic skills & critical/creative thinking skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint / Excel)
- Project management experience and strong planning & prioritization skills
- Proficiency in English, possessing strong communication skills
