Our client is expanding the Quality Department and is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer.
In this position, you will be reporting to the Safety, Quality, and Security Manager and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality assurance processes for critical software, especially in the safety and security domains. Moreover, you will work closely with the management team to ensure that quality standards meet both internal and industry-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 standards.
- Support the implementation of regulatory compliance measures in line with current and future EASA standards within the Air Traffic Control industry.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Advocate for a safety-first culture within the team through coaching, training, and promoting internal quality processes.
- Ensure that quality standards are met through diligent Quality Assurance efforts.
- Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor or Master in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong background in Integrated Management Systems, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and compliance in software development within safety-critical industries.
- Familiarity with EASA certification in aerospace industries.
- Experience with software development processes in safety-critical environments.
- Previous exposure to the aerospace or air traffic control sectors is required.
- Knowledge of standards such as ED-153, ED-109, DO-178, and DO-254 is a significant advantage.
- High analytical capacity, adaptability, autonomy, and a service-oriented mindset.
- High resilience to stress and flexibility to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
