As part of a global bank, this long-established and well-known leasing solutions group offers bespoke vendor finance and leasing solutions to companies. Their expert teams provide skilled support to professionals who want to finance an investment, develop sales or finance/outsource the management of their professional equipment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic operations assistant/sales support to join their busy, small but growing team. Our client really looks after its employees and is very flexible - giving back what is put in. They are offering a dynamic and adaptable support person an intense and exciting role! No need to have experience from financial services - just the willingness to learn. Our Client is very happy to consider those in an operations support role from other, relevant industries. Some interest obviously in finance, interest rates and figures, would obviously be a plus. There is no need to already know the leasing business as full training will be given by our Client to the new joiner.

Position:
For this 12 month fixed-term contract (renewable), working at 80-100% with flexible working (office + home), this is a unique job opportunity on the Lausanne market place for a German speaker! Very collegial work atmosphere, nice people, a busy and enriching work load and lots of flexibility with the hours. The position is joining a well-established office in the heart of Lausanne. A dynamic, busy and friendly team as well as a great COO at the helm! This role would suit someone who is pro-active, ultra-organised and enjoys/used to a broad role with attention to detail, checking the work carefully and doing a thorough job. You should have a good head for figures/numeracy and thrive/be happy as part of a small office, in a varied operations support position. Your Operations, Sales Support or Administration experience could come from any related areas such as as logistics, construction, manufacturing, industrial or financial services. In essence, the team you will join supports the sales managers, commercial partners and specialized resellers. The support you will give will be by telephone, e-mail or any other usual means of communication, with the aim of maintaining and extending customer relations, in particular as the main point of contact.
The role will include, but not limited to:
- Autonomous processing of leasing or rental offers from the reception of the request until the evaluation of the financing and decision-making
- Documentation and information requirements for leasing and rental requests received, as well as for the preparation of underwriting and risk management services
- Processing of requests within the framework of compliance regulations (LBA / Compliance/Legal) - full training given
- Preparation of offers in coordination with sales managers
- Entry, processing and follow-up of files
- Preparation, review, acceptance and management of concessionaire framework contracts, including entering information into the IT systems and creating online access (web portal)
- Support in projects, tests and their documentation
- Assistance during commercial events (for example the representation of the company on a stand at a professional fair)
Profile:
- Commercial apprenticeship/Technical CFC or equivalent
- Native/bilingual German a must (business level so C2 or above); C1 level in English and at least A2/B1 level in French
- Around 2++ years sales support/customer service experience (B2B or B2C)
- Experience should be operations-focused and customer-service focused from a technical industry ideally
- Able to handle complex tasks in an industrialized set-up
- Industry areas exposed to could include commerce, industry, leasing, logistics, import/export, capital good services, construction or manufacturing for example
- Adaptable, dynamic, resilient team player
- A strong passionate for sales support/operations support (happy to have contact with clients by telephone, email and follow-up etc).
- A thorough approach with good attention to detail, able to manage deadlines and be meticulous
- Knowledge of the Swiss economy, Swiss culture etc a plus
- Strong MS-Office: good command of tools (especially Word and Excel)
- Commitment to being based in Lausanne for work and ideally already living in the region; frontalier ok (there is also a parking space offered in this job for employees, which is a rare perk!)
- Able to commit to an 80-100% job (2 to 3 days home office per week is possible) for this 12-month temporary contract (renewable)
