A s a global leader in power semiconductors, we offer one of the most diverse product portfolios including thyristors, diodes, GTOs, IGCTs, IGBTs and MOSFETs recognized by industry, power transmission & distribution, mobility, renewable energy for their ultimate in quality and reliability.
As a Senior Photolithography Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing photolithography processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. Your expertise will be essential in working with advanced lithography equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality production standards.
Your Background
-
PhD or master’s degree in physics, material science, or a related field
-
Some years of experience in semiconductors, ideally in photolithography
-
Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to interact with different teams to address root causes rather than just symptoms
-
Excellent team player with a proactive approach
-
English proficiency is required; German is a strong plus
-
Readiness for On-call duties on weekends and public holidays as required by production, with participation in on-call meetings agreed upon with other on-call service providers
How you will make an impact
-
Process Optimization: Ensure processes meet production program and yield goals, addressing any product yield and rework issues
-
Vendor Collaboration: Engage with equipment and material vendors to develop new solutions and improve existing processes
-
Innovation: Develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and coordinate process improvement projects
-
Data Analysis: Analyze process data to identify trends, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues (implement and regularly check SPC)
-
Documentation: Document and communicate project plans, status, and results through written reports and presentations
-
Machinery Implementation: Independently plan and implement new machinery into the production line
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with process integration, wet etch, diffusion, metals, dry etch, and implant teams to ensure seamless production
-
Metrology Support: Support metrology tools, such as measuring CD and Overlay
