The Graduate School is a dynamic and fast-growing business unit of EHL Hospitality Business School. It has a growing portfolio of diverse graduate level offers including Degree Programs, Executive Education, and Advisory and Training solutions for professionals and organizations. Since 2017, the Graduate School has been developing online and blended programs such as the MBA in Hospitality Management, Online Certificate Courses, and blended Executive Education programs.

The mission of the Digital Learning Designer is to develop engaging multimedia online learning content, incorporating instructional and graphic design and using the latest EdTech authoring and production tools. You will work collaboratively with faculty and production partners, as well as independently to produce high-quality digital learning content. You will also be responsible for maintaining design templates, documentation of processes, and inventory of digital learning assets. For this role, we seek a candidate with a strong eye for UX/UI, digital design skills, and a talent for creating engaging and story-driven online learning experiences. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent organizational skills and an agile mindset.
What will you do?
- Create engaging multimedia digital learning content and activities (e.g. video/audio-based, activity-based, and question-based learning), working closely with Faculty (Subject Matter Experts) and Production Partners.
- Apply adult learning theories to support the creation of digital learning experiences and learning content.
- Develop instructional graphics and other visual support to enhance student learning (e.g. illustrations, animations, infographics, diagrams, presentations, supporting documents).
- Review and improve the learning content and related UX/UI on our Learning Management System (LMS) on a regular basis.
- Review digital learning materials and related UX/UI on our Learning Management System to maintain high quality and consistent online learning experiences.
- Explore, test, and incorporate new methods and tools to create interactive, user-centered digital learning content.
- Maintain accurate design templates, documentation of processes, and an inventory to develop a consistent structure for digital learning assets.
Who you are?
- You have a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Arts in instructional/learning design or educational technology.
- You have +5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- You have instructional design, graphic design, video editing, and UX/UI skills.
- You have working proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator), video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects), and online authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, H5P).
- You have work experience in instructional design with the ability to write and review instructional texts, and audio-video scripts.
- You have an eye for details while working efficiently at the same time.
- You have excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- You are fluent in English (C2).
