Wallee is seeking a team of experienced engineers to help us achieve our mission of delivering the best payment experience in the market. We organize our teams across multiple countries using Scrum processes, ensuring collaboration and efficiency. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. As leaders in the payment industry, we are continually exploring new solutions and innovations.
We are recruiting for our office in Vilnius.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Wallee’s payment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear acceptance criteria during user story creation.
- Continuously improve QA processes by researching and integrating new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues using logs, working closely with developers to resolve problems.
- Perform regular regression testing to maintain software quality across multiple releases.
- Work on multiple projects in parallel, demonstrating the ability to quickly switch contexts and manage priorities.
- Strong understanding of the software quality principles, with experience in software testing and development.
- In-depth knowledge of testing procedures, tools, and the ability to write secure, testable code.
- Good knowledge around test automation. (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
- Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Cucumber, with familiarity in Appium being a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, and experienced in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of the payment industry and e-commerce payment platforms is beneficial.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency with command-line tools in Unix.
- Strong analytical skills and a technical approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Git, logs in CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of EMV specifications or/and EP2 standards is a plus.
- Experience testing terminal payment devices is a plus.
