What you do here
Unlock new business in the form of future scale for Travel Retail (GTR) division in priority markets with development of a robust route to market for the Retail stores / Formats and expansion at airports.
Responsible for the setup of a profitable business model, evaluation and prioritization of the countries and the opportunities, working hand in hand with Corporate, Global and GTR teams.
Planning:
- Identify and prioritize key markets with Head of GTR.
- Maintain and update Retail vision and ambitions for the division.
- Prepare informational packs for local teams and Group Management, Leadership team and local teams to enable sharing and decision making.
Feasibility:
- Deliver solid business cases covering 5 year P&L, portfolio, pricing and competitor analysis, aligned with DIS and Corporate Controlling.
- Construct PMOs for various projects, and ensure and manage all project deliverables ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Perform feasibility studies to ensure success of markets including competitive, local partner alliances, supply chain, legal, government regulations and business setup process.
- Take a proactive approach to anticipating risks and formulating contingency plans.
- Successfully transition project to local operations teams, providing support beyond feasibility stage.
Strategic Projects:
- Implement standards, procedures etc. relevant to the new market / country, examples but not limited to:
- Packaging - design and sourcing.
- Store Design/concepts - design and material selection.
- Lead implementation of all locally relevant global retail programs to deliver premium in-store brand experience and drive conversion.

- Project management and leadership skills
- Experience with working in a multi-cultural organization
- Strong influencing and networking skills, working with Global teams and presenting up to Group level

Functional Capabilities:
- Strong understanding of elements of the P&L and technical knowledge of Retail business, always working to keep knowledge current
- Ability to develop and enable strategy/decisions providing clear and concise information and insights
- Proficient with MS Office Suite particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of Project Management software/tools is a plus

Minimum education requirements:
- University degree
- Project Management experience, professional certificate is a plus
Language skills:
- High proficiency in spoken and business English
- Ability to speak other languages is a plus
