Your day-to-day
Join us as our new Barman / Chef de Rang :
Your main duties will be to:
Advise guests on the choice of drinks and dishes and know how to present them in detail.
Take care of setting up, clearing, cleaning and tidying up the Bar.
Prepare the drinks (classic cocktails from the menu and also compositions of your choice).
Ensure a smooth service: take orders, ensure the link between the Kitchen and the Bar, prepare the bills, handle payments and receipts, clear and clean the tables.
What we need from you
With a degree in Hospitality Management, you have minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within a hotel establishment of the same category (4- or 5-star) and/or a luxury bar. You have extensive knowledge in Mixology.
You are fluent in French and English. Mastering another foreign language of one of our target markets (Germany, China, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Russia) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Simphony/Micros and good computer skills are a plus.
Highly organized and autonomous, you are acknowledged for your guest service orientation, your reactivity and your capacity to anticipate guests' needs. You like working in a fast-paced environment and are autonomous and flexible. You aim to share your passion and knowledge with your guests and your colleagues and are willing to help when needed.
This position is to be filled as from May to September 2024 and is opened to Swiss citizens and work permit holders as well as EU passport holders.
