Join our team as a Senior Fullstack Java Developer and be a part of shaping the future of our technology stack.
Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems and APIs.
- Design and build service-oriented solutions on Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optimise queries, schemas and indexes.
- Create or optimise algorithms for data processing, transformation, and validation.
- Integrate with other enterprise systems, using industry-standard integration technologies and best practices.
- Ensure high-quality code that meet security and performance standards
- Adhere to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Ensure timely bug fixes and improvements.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Propose technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Participate in the enhancement of frontend components.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product owners, other developers) to understand requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, Java advancements, and best practices.
- Share knowledge within the team and contribute to continuous improvement.
A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in Java development (Java 18+)
- Strong experience with the Spring framework. Familiarity with Spring Security
- Experience with reporting libraries (e.g. Jasper) is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL is a plus
- Experience with HTTP REST APIs and general networking concepts
- Good knowledge of modern front-end technologies, Angular is a plus
- Knowledge of Docker; Kubernetes experience preferred
- Delivery experience within an agile environment using Scrum
- Familiar with source code management using Git
- Experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
- You are methodological, autonomous, a fast learner and a team player
- Excellent spoken and written skills in French and English
