La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus is centrally located in Geneva and blends a mix of 18th Century buildings with cutting edge STEM and Arts facilities. The bilingual (French and English) campus is home to close to 1,900 students across the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO's International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint's global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.

To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Learning Support Teacher
Part-time - 75-100% position
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students' learning needs, analyse results, and monitor progress. Use a range of assessment tools to inform targeted interventions.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs, and fostering an environment conducive to academic growth.
- Write individual learning goals for students.
- Support the learning of students with expressive and receptive language issues, difficulty with concept formation in all academic domains, multi literateness and organisational challenges.
- Assist in adapting classroom materials and teaching strategies to ensure students with learning needs can access the curriculum effectively.
- Assist the coordinator of learning support regarding the follow up of students
- Liaise with students, subject teachers, year coordinators, Senior Leadership, Pastoral Team amongst other key members and integrate support strategies within the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, interventions, and communications with families, and prepare reports as required.
Candidate requirements
- SEN qualifications or equivalent
- English first language, with strong linguistic skills, and experience of EAL
- Ability to communicate in French at a basic level.
- Proven ability to support learning for high IQ students who need greater curricular challenge is an advantage.
- Strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills; adept at collaborative work with teachers, families, and external specialists; a solid understanding of diverse learning needs and differentiated instruction.
- Minimum 2 years' experience of teaching
- Resourceful, adaptable, accessible
- Both autonomous and a good team player
- Good IT, administrative and organisational skills
- Flexibility with ability to support any academic content
- Strong interpersonal skills
