LINE MANAGER: Creative & Theatrical Director, Entertainment

Project manage, create & monitor high-quality, innovative entertainment projects, ensuring artistic integrity, consistency and MSC standards are exceeded unfailingly. Working with internal and external stakeholders to meet ambitious expectations.

• Project Management: Oversee creation & execution of entertainment experiences, including:

• Theatrical installations, Production shows, Licensed Titles & big stage Activities
• Activities: Parties, Game shows, Parades, Street Theatre & Themed events
• Introduction of new concept
• Enhancement and futureproofing of existing content.

• Team Collaboration & risk management: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and manage risk and viability

• Feedback & Improvement: Continuously gather insights from operations to drive enhancements.

• Innovation & Vendor Relations: Introduce fresh ideas and manage relationships with suppliers.

• Budget management & creation

• Technical: work with our stakeholders to create a safe, innovative platform of operation.

• Production Management: Leverage experience in line production to drive successful outcomes.

• Creative Insight: Influence and guide the creative process.

• Comprehensive project oversight: Manage complex projects with effective time & fiscal planning.

• Supplier Coordination: Build & maintain strong supplier partnerships.

• Audience Awareness: Tailor experiences for all MSC’s international & diverse audiences.

• Content & Technical knowledge: Stay current with content creation processes & technical trends.

• Departmental efficiency & environment: Promote safe practices & a positive work atmosphere.

• Experience: 5+ years in large-scale production or creative leadership roles.

• Industry Background: Experience in the cruise and creative arts industry.

• Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of cosmopolitan and multi-generational audiences.

• Education & Technical Skills: Qualifications in Creative, Performing Arts or similar fields, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Mac OS X software.
