Team Overview:
The Model Risk Management (MRM) organization provides oversight for the Model Risk Management Framework, which consists of the policy, processes, and procedure through which Citi identifies, measures, manages, monitors, reports, and controls model risk across the firm. The team responsible for the development and execution of the overall strategy for the independent validation of all Consumer Valuation models, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) varying techniques.
What you’ll do:
- Conducts statistical analysis for risk related projects and data modelling / validation.
- Conducts data analysis, data mining, read and create formal statistical documentation, reports and work with Technology to address issues.
- Data extraction and data preprocessing tasks, perform ad hoc data analyses, design and maintain complex data manipulation processes.
- Generates statistical models to improve methods of obtaining and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data and identify relationships and trends in data and factors affecting research results
- Validate and strategize uses of scoring models and scoring model related policies.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup.
What we’ll need from you:
- 5-8 years relevant experience required.
- Statistical predictive modelling (development / validation) experience required.
- SAS, R, Python and SQL required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
