Associate Manager, People Partner Description
We are looking to make a new addition to our people team and hire an Associate Manager, People Partner in Zurich, Switzerland who will play a key role in supporting EPAM continued growth through people programs, processes, policies and practices that enable EPAM to attract, develop, engage, leverage and retain talent in highly competitive markets in the region. We are searching for a capable, hard-working professional who has already proven themselves in a fast-paced environment.

As this role will support our Swiss business, it will require fluency in German.

Responsibilities
- Support the people strategy by engaging with unit heads and people leaders, linking business and people agendas aligned with company values
- Build strong relationships with unit heads and people leaders, ensuring people management solutions meet current and future business needs
- Assist managers in effectively leading teams, including feedback provision, supporting development, assessing promotions and reviewing compensation
- Foster close relationships with employees, facilitating feedback through surveys and dialogues and implement actions to enhance engagement and retention
- Provide consultancy and support on people management processes and programs to ensure impactful business success
- Coach people managers on leadership roles, team management skills and competencies
- Create an environment that motivates employees to perform, develop their talents and contribute to company success
- Manage and monitor HR processes (onboarding, training, performance management, mobility, exits etc.) in collaboration with various departments
- Coordinate HR administration, reporting, payroll and collaborate with Talent Acquisition on job offers, interviews and hiring recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in human resources with 7-10 years of HR experience in the technology sector or a similar industry or overall relative experience
- 2 years + of experience within a people partner and HR business partner role
- Strong understanding of employment rules, regulations and Labour law
- Deep understanding of local cultural HR/employment practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new technologies
- Demonstrated passion for people's development and happiness and a proven track record in fostering positive team environments
- Proactive and positive mindset, with the capability to work independently
- Resilient and agile, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage pressure efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing effective solutions
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, international teams and build enduring relationships
- A strong commitment to continuous learning, improvement and adapting best practices
- A consultative approach, highlighting the ability to engage people and focus on solution-oriented approaches
- You are fluent in German and English; French would also be an additional advantage
