The Business and Travel Shared Services (BTSS) Technology Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address the gaps.
- Manage content and internet site updates within SharePoint online/SharePoint 2019 platforms.
- Ensure compliance with the Third-Party Management (TPM) Policy and External Third-Party Management Standard for Technology supplier relationships, when listed as designated Business Activity Owner (BAO).
- Developing detailed requirements, working through solutions and managing execution and rollout of these solutions, in the context of an overall consistent global platform.
- Liaise with vendors and regional IT groups and work closely together with product managers in business projects.
- Help to analyze technical requirements and business needs to system enhancements and translate business requirement to technical specifications.
- Participate in implementation activities, prepare development related documentation, and participate in user acceptance tests.
- Identify and implement online technology to increase efficiencies, enhance controls and reduce cost.
- Configure and manage self-service travel booking site Citi Travel and Expense Management (CEMP) policy settings.
- Manage end-user training and documentation on Travel applications.
- Provide application support service to the business applications including answering queries.
- Analyze technical requirements and business needs to system development.
- Manage Information Security (IS) assessment and review processes required by Citi policies including but not limited to:
- Vulnerability Assessment (VA)
- Cloud Computing Assessments
- Third Party Information Security Assessment (TPISA)
- Third Party Risk Assessment Process (TP- RAP)
- Cross Boarder Data Clearance (CBDC)
- Identify Information Security issues and track resolution of the corrective actions plans to ensure that the respective vendors resolve and close timely and properly.
- Be up to date with all internal Citi policies and ensure that these are adhered to.
- Coordinate Information Security (IS) efforts with Internal Audit.
- Coordinate security orientation and security awareness programs.
- Manage process for consolidation, formatting, and transmission of Citi HR data to third party suppliers.
- Operations and project team focus will be during day, this role will be expected to complete items during off, night and weekend hours.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role.
- Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
- Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams
- Has in-depth knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and industry trends of products and services in area of responsibility.
- Ability to act as technical product owner from design through implementation and lifecycle management.
- Provide expertise and advanced level of technology understanding.
- Subject matter expert in technology planning.
- English and Spanish (required)

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
