We are seeking a resourceful Senior Advisor, Strategic Relations for a 4-month contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating strategic partnerships, managing external relations, and supporting executive leadership in driving organisational objectives. The Senior Advisor will ensure smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders and facilitating seamless operations.

Missions

Strategic Coordination:
- Assist the Chief of Staff in managing the Director General's relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth communication, decision-making, and follow-up on essential partnerships, including members, donors, and private sector entities.

External Relations and Representation:
- Prepare and coordinate materials for the Director General's missions, such as briefing notes, speeches, and presentations.
- Provide logistical and substantive support during high-level meetings, ensuring successful engagements.

Internal Communications:
- Facilitate regular and clear communication between the Director General and internal teams, members, and partners.
- Coordinate town halls, meetings, and provide summaries to ensure leadership is updated on key issues.

Operational Support:
- Ensure that all reports and documents for both internal and external distribution are timely, high-quality, and aligned with the organisation's mission.

Special Projects:
- Undertake additional strategic tasks as directed by the Chief of Staff, with a flexible and adaptive approach to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
Profil du candidat
- Education: Advanced degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, public policy, or international development, with a proven ability to translate analytical expertise into practical solutions.
- Experience: Over 10 years of professional experience, ideally within an international context, with a strong focus on areas such as development or environmental conservation.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in French or Spanish is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate complex activities, and collaborate effectively across various teams.
- Personal Attributes: Strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and integrity, with a commitment to contributing to the organisation's mission of creating sustainable change.
