Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic E-commerce Manager to lead the digital retail strategy and operations of our company. As the E-commerce Manager, you will optimize our online sales channels, enhance customer experience, and implement innovative marketing strategies to maximize revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for digital commerce, strong analytical skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy Development and Sales Optimization

  • Design and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and brand visibility.
  • Define and reinforce revenue objectives, emphasizing the impact on total sales (products and booking).
  • Set and achieve clear sales targets, including average basket size and conversion rate improvements.

2. Website and CMS Management

  • Oversee the management and optimization of the Content Management System (CMS), including updates to design, structure, and content.
  • Ensure seamless integration of plugins, tools, and APIs with the CMS.
  • Manage and optimize the back office of Shopify or equivalent platforms to ensure efficient operation and functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers and external technical teams for system improvements and troubleshooting.

3. Supplier and Inventory Management

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure smooth product sourcing and inventory flow.
  • Oversee product catalog updates, including pricing, stock levels, and descriptions.
  • Implement automated processes for supplier integrations and inventory tracking within the CMS.

4. Marketing and Campaign Management

  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, SEO, and social media advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Develop and optimize automated email marketing campaigns (cart abandonment follow-ups, post-purchase, reactivation, etc.) using tools like Klaviyo and Salesforce.
  • Expand marketing channels to include SMS and WhatsApp automation where relevant.
  • Create retargeting campaigns to convert potential leads into customers.
  • Explore influencer marketing with a strong ROI-driven and affiliate-based approach.
  • Support ePR efforts in collaboration with the marketing team.

5. Customer Retention & Subscription Strategy

  • Develop strategies to increase purchase frequency and optimize the subscription model.
  • Leverage automation to enhance customer retention and subscription engagement.

6. Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Implement advanced retargeting strategies to increase conversions.
  • Explore and integrate influencer marketing with a data-driven ROI approach.
  • Optimize affiliate marketing efforts to expand reach and engagement.

7. Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and traffic.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics and Power BI to analyze trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Report regularly to the leadership team with actionable insights.

8. Customer Experience

  • Enhance the customer journey by creating personalized shopping experiences.
  • Manage customer service inquiries and post-sale follow-ups to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Develop loyalty programs to retain and engage returning customers.

9. Collaboration and Team Management

  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and logistics teams to align e-commerce initiatives with company goals.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and partners for advertising and technical support.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in managing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO/SEA and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in marketing automation across multiple channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing.
  • Experience in the luxury, hospitality, or retail sector is a strong advantage.

Languages

  • Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
