Reporting to: Head of Business Engineering within the Business Division

The Business Analyst / Business Engineer will be responsible for analysing and defining business processes for a new product / product range, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their needs, gather and analyse data, and develop strategic plans to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

He/She works closely with Marketing, Products & Operations and looks at how the division operates – conducting research and analysing data to develop their knowledge – and drives the implementation of methods for the company to improve their practices and processes. This is done with the aim of helping the division to be more efficient, solve existing business problems and/or better achieve their goals.

The work of the business analyst / business engineer is very closely related to the IT department. The business analysts’ solutions will involve the implementation of new, or improved, computer systems/tools, and the analyst’s role extends to familiarising the wider business with the benefits of this new technology and instructing colleagues on how it is to be used.

The Analysts will work on new business projects and be responsible for the overall delivery from A to Z which is different to the normal role of a business analyst. From analysis, definition of business requirements over process definition, testing and preparing training as well as go to market activities this covers all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives.
• Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Process Design & Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to optimize business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Solution Design: Design and propose innovative solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational goals.
• Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and project plans.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.

What you bring :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Min. 5-8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Business Engineer, or similar role.
• Min. 5-8 years of proven experience in a telco / internet service provider
• Proven experience and knowledge in sales pipeline / prospect management tools, service activation tool, CRM, customer care tools, field team management tool
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience with business process modelling and improvement techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA of BCS, CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English is a must; French or German is a plus, both spoken and written
