As a Plant Design Engineer, In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, implementation, and optimization of complex processes within the Pharma/Biotech and Chemical industries.

Your tasks will include:

• Lead the engineering and design of new API production plants, including the development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), User Requirement Specifications (URSs), and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, including ATEX directives.
• Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including budget tracking and stakeholder management.
• Commission and qualify new equipment (eg. tanks and pumps).
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for API production equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement CAPA.
• Provide technical support to production operations.

Your profile :

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in plant engineering, commissioning, or maintenance in the pharmaceutical or related industry
• Strong understanding of API production processes and equipment
• Experience with P&IDs, URSs, HAZOPs, and ATEX directives
• Experience with project management, including stakeholder management and budget tracking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
