Your mission
As our CFO, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of namuk. You’ll oversee all aspects of our financial management, from strategic planning to financial reporting, risk management, and operational efficiencies.
Leading a team of motivated professionals, you will be at the forefront of our rapidly growing start-up. You partner with the co-CEOs and the entire team to drive growth, improve profitability, and support our commitment to sustainability in our products and business practices.
- Responsible for the financial operations, including financial reporting and controlling, forecasting and cash flow management
- Responsible for preparing quarterly and annual reports to the board, highlighting key performance metrics and financial health
- Responsible for all operational and planning activities related to production, procurement/sourcing, and logistics
- Provide strategic financial insight and analysis to support decision-making by the Co-CEOs and the leadership team
- Driving force in fundraising and maintaining investor relationships, including deal-structuring and set-up of legal documentation together with the Co-CEOs
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and other key stakeholders
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies
- Ensure financial compliance with industry standards, Swiss, European, and US regulations, and best practices
- Develop and mentor the finance and operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Contribute to business development activities, including product expansion, international growth, and sustainability initiatives
Your profile
- Proven experience in senior financial roles, including CFO or VP of Finance, preferably within an international scale-up, retail, apparel, or consumer goods company
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and working with Private Equity and Venture Capital
- Strong experience in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis
- Expertise in financial modeling and metrics, as well as a deep understanding of key commercial indicators and KPIs
- Knowledge of accounting systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- A passion for sustainability and a commitment to supporting environmentally responsible business practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
- A strategic and global mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to achieving company goals
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MBA
