Job Purpose
The incumbent is primarily responsible to deliver financial performance reporting, planning and analysis in support of the IWG business worldwide, focusing on the reporting for the top management of the company. The incumbent is expected to provide financial and analytical support to the leadership team, and support the management of IWG in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Being an active and integral member of the team, oversee and participate in preparation of monthly management reporting, participate in preparation of financial models and forecasts, provide advice, support and analysis, establish yourself as a business partner to different functions.
- Coordinate preparation of monthly management reports, variance analysis, trend analysis and commentaries on business performance.
- Prepare business review presentations to Group CEO, operational leaders & Board of Directors; provide relevant commentary on business performance, trends and improvement opportunities.
- Work with business functions to drive performance improvement.
- Develop, implement and maintain performance reports and models, constantly improving processes to increase efficiency and drive change within business.
- Actively participate in migration of reporting to PowerBI.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- The incumbent must possess a high level of finance and analytical expertise. Financial reporting and modelling skills are required, with the ability to develop relationships with representatives of business functions being essential in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
- Degree in Finance/ Accounting with relevant experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis in an International environment.
- ACCA / CPA / CIMA is desirable.
- Candidate must be highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Essbase and PowerBI is desirable.
- The successful candidate should be well organized and possess good analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong numerical and communication skills – both written and oral.
- Hard working, conscientious, professional and independent, with high level of motivation and a positive attitude.
- Confidence to work with management, both finance and non-finance, in a cooperative but challenging and independent manner.
- A team player with a hands-on approach to work, flexible, open minded.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and to work in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English.
