As a Senior Accounts Payable & Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining compliance with Swiss GAAP. Your expertise in managing supplier relationships, reconciliations, and financial controls will contribute to the efficiency and integrity of the company's financial operations. You will ensure accurate and timely execution of cash management tasks and contribute to process improvements within the treasury function.
1. Payment Processing & Cash Management:
- Consolidate and prioritize payment requests from various departments.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and manage daily cash operations.
2. Bank Transactions & Reconciliations:
- Ensure accuracy of daily bank transactions are booked in ERP and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other ledgers.
3. Accounts Payable & Supplier Management:
- Process supplier invoices efficiently and reconcile accounts payable with supplier statements.
- Reconcile supplier accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage communications with other departments (Procurement).
4. Bookkeeping & Compliance:
- Support accounting with supplier invoice bookkeeping and maintain accurate ledgers in compliance with Swiss GAAP.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls over accounting transactions.
5. Expense:
- Validate employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions for policy compliance.
6. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely bookings and collections.
7. Intercompany Transactions:
- Handle intercompany transactions and manage contact for international subsidiaries.
- Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
8. Month-End & Year-End Closing:
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts.
9. Treasury & Cash Forecasting:
- Consolidate treasury information from subsidiaries to provide an accurate daily cash position.
- Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, including inflows and outflows.
- Monitor foreign currency exposures and propose strategies to optimize transfer costs.
10. Debt & Banking Relationship Management:
- Assist in managing the Group’s debt portfolio, including interest and principal payments.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with banking partners to optimize operations.
11. Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls for treasury and accounting activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving treasury processes and implement efficient solutions.
12. Reporting & Financial Analysis:
- Provide support for external audits, ensuring timely delivery of necessary documentation.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and address management queries.
- Support IT initiatives to improve financial reporting and accounting processes.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant / Acc. Payable / Treasurer or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle financial data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in cash forecasting, foreign exchange management, or debt management of treasury management is a plus.

Languages
Good level of English and French (spoken and written).
