La fondation de Vernand est une organisation d’utilité publique à but non lucratif fondée en 1972. L’organisation accompagne au quotidien plus de 600 personnes, enfants et adultes, présentant une déficience intellectuelle ou des troubles en tout genre. La fondation offre des structures d’hébergement, des services d’accompagnement à domicile, des places de travail pour personnes handicapées et un secteur d’enseignement spécialisé. L’organisation est présente dans 31 lieux différents répartis entre 13 communes vaudoises. La fondation emploie environ 400 collaborateurs représentant une trentaine de métiers différents.
