I strongly advise against it!
What works well?
-the image of the company (for the moment) -the people who work there because most of them are fantastic, courageous and deserving
What could be improved?
-lack of respect for employees, lack of humanity and empathy -very low salaries except for the top levels -too much politics, in words everything is nice but in reality it's "walk or die -no respect for labor laws, you have to complain to get them respected -a lot of inequalities between departments, there are differences in management sometimes within the same department/ lack of a company policy that is really applied instead of just marketed -the "benefits" sold at the time of hiring melt like snow in the sun each year -complaints from students who are disillusioned once hired need to be managed

Never got a response after the interview
What works well?
The interview itself was fine, the people were kind. I just never obtained any follow-up at all.
What could be improved?
I had an interview for a job opening around 3 months ago. At the end of the interview, they said that they would get back to me within the next couple of weeks to give me an answer and feedback on the interview. Since then, I have sent several emails but I haven't obtained any answer at all. It isn't a respectful way to treat a candidate.

What works well?
After many years in the company, and after the WOW effect of the first year, there is nothing left but nice words and political correctness.
What could be improved?
less communication about values and more application of those values. To see a manager, whose practices have been denounced, receive promotion after promotion, when the company communicates on the well-being at work, is very questionable! only appearance counts at EHL

Doubtful values
What works well?
What worked well: the meals, which were very reasonably priced; the vacations (5 weeks fixed, 2 weeks to be fixed for the rest of the year); some of the team members, who were great people, committed and great to work with.
What could be improved?
What's wrong: the company's values, which only apply to managers; the pitiful treatment of employees' mental health; the lack of questioning by management when teams fall apart one after the other (sick leave or resignations); petty bosses hired to reorganize everything instead of thinking about the root of the problem; the deplorable way employees (except managers) are treated; broken promises. I'll stop there, but the list could be longer.

HR Manager
Thank you for taking the time to provide your honest feedback and I am truly sorry to hear that your experience at EHL didn’t live up to our standards. Our values are meant to be lived daily in all that we do and, importantly, applicable to everyone – this is part of our culture transformation over the past year and a half, where we’ve ensured that each and every employee receives training on our values and leadership principles. This is also now included within the performance review to ensure that behaviors reflect our values and that how we achieve our goals is not only compliant, but a model for our students and partners. If this has not been the case in your experience, I kindly invite you to contact our External Staff Counsellor or myself so that we can address this going forward. In the meantime, I wish you the very best in your next professional chapters. Sonia, Director of People & Organization

A nice name on the CV, catastrophic management
What works well?
There are many advantages to being a staff or student, including discounts and lower meal costs. The people who work there are all smiling and do their best.
What could be improved?
Managers are more egocentric and focused on their own success than that of their teams. Salaries are too low, except for management. An incompetent HR team that regularly makes mistakes.

Red Flag
What works well?
On the outside, it's enviable, but given the way I've been treated, it's a huge red flag for me!
What could be improved?
I went for an interview and never received a reply, despite my emails and calls. No answer! Dehumanizing recruitment process.

A Disappointing Recruitment Experience
What works well?
For those considering applying there, I would recommend proceeding with caution. My experience showed a lack of transparency, follow-through, and respect for candidates. In its current state, I cannot recommend EHL as a place to seek employment unless significant changes are made to their recruitment process.
What could be improved?
I recently applied for a job at EHL, expecting a professional and respectful process, especially given the company’s prestigious reputation. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations, and I feel compelled to share this review in hopes that it will encourage some reflection and improvements. The interview itself was overly formal, focusing on superficial and generic questions that didn’t allow me to demonstrate my true skills, competencies, or motivation. Instead, I felt like they were waiting for a rehearsed speech rather than than evaluating my capability to fulfill the role. The questions felt outdated and irrelevant, more about formality than substance. Besides, the post-interview process was equally frustrating. I went through an interview but was left in the dark for months afterward with no communication. Despite being told I would hear back soon, I never received any updates. When I reached out to the HR team led to no response, making me feel completely disregarded as a candidate. This experience raises serious concerns about the company's recruitment practices and how they align with the values they claim to uphold, such as empathy and respect. A recruitment process should mirror an organization’s culture and values, but in this case, it felt mechanical, disrespectful, and finally disappointing.

Great Place to Work
What works well?
Infrastructure is excellent and bling bling. HR is reliable and the salaries are always paid on time. Most of the students are wonderful (those who assume responsibility and remain unentitled and uncontaminated by toxic theories). The level is not very demanding if you have been out of work for a while. There are no entry exams, cv checks etc. and a lot of staff never learn Office or master tools and they are provided assistants to do all the work that requires LMS etc. Working here seems to be respectable so it will look good on your cv.
What could be improved?
Management is unapprochable and evaluate staff/faculty they never talk to. Many cases of bad office clmate are never taken seriously but somehow, the analysis from Bilan and Great Place to Work puts them on top! If you have a lot of skills, you will be discouraged and pushed aside by those who are proud of technical shortcomings. You need to take charge of your own prof. dev.

Some chiefs have obtained their positions by cronyism and not for their skills. Avoid operational jobs where no evolution has occurred.
