What works well?
Working atmosphere: Despite the difficulties, the working atmosphere among colleagues is pleasant and supportive. The relationships between team members are a positive point to emphasise. Diversity of qualifications: A wide variety of skills and professional backgrounds within the teams, which enriches exchanges and collaboration. Working environment: The environment is international and the working environment is pleasant, offering a great experience in this respect.
What could be improved?
Corporate culture far removed from Switzerland: Despite its name, Swiss Education Group in no way reflects the Swiss working mentality. The management, influenced by the owner group (of Chinese origin), is totally out of step with Swiss standards. Inappropriate micro-management: The management exercises a heavy-handed micro-management style, coming from a team that lacks any real experience in the hotel and catering industry, even though they run schools in this field. Nepotism: If you are not part of a family or a specific community, it is difficult, if not impossible, to attain the same opportunities as others. This creates a climate of injustice. Lack of recognition: Staff receive no recognition, no prospects for personal development or career advancement, except for those with family ties. Working conditions: Working conditions and pay are well below average. Working on public holidays, take imposed mandatory paid leaves, no 13th salary, no industry agreement, all contribute to an uninspiring environment. High turnover: The turnover rate is alarmingly high, a sign of a major structural problem. Increasing demands: Employees are asked to do more and more, but with fewer and fewer resources, which creates constant pressure.

What works well?
Atmosphere between colleagues is very nice. Very good school.
What could be improved?
Micro management. You either need to be a family members or friends of management to be able to have a career progression or promotion. It is not how good you are, it is more like who you know. A lot of burn out or sickness from stress at work. No support.

What works well?
I have a hard time mentioning other than "some colleagues". In the past 4 months, several of them left burnt out or even quitted the position without having another opportunity.
What could be improved?
Some colleagues are very welcoming and willing to help others. I am afraid the management does not think the same. The salary conditions are extremely low, there is an important micro-management and you need to pay for any training you do. Benefits are low or none.

What could be improved?
Extremly poor working conditions. I have been working here for 5 years and witnessed 3 burnouts. At least 15 people were offered lower quality working conditions after a few years working for this com

What works well?
So my time there are still many good people fighting so that students are not too harmed with everything that is going on!
What could be improved?
Since the takeover by an Asian investment fund and the installation of a new Chinese CEO, the company has started a free fall at almost all levels. But the most worrying thing is the new management style: lack of trust, micro-management, humiliation of the staff in public, not valuing the qualities of the existing (and experienced) staff, constant pressure with directives that go in one direction and then in the opposite direction, no responsibility when there are mistakes... the list goes on. This has resulted in several dozen burnouts (at all levels from C levels to people working in schools to directors)... or people are sidelined until they resign because they no longer have any self-confidence... or people learn that they have been fired by seeing job offers for their position online.... in short, a deplorable treatment of people!

What works well?
The working atmosphere is pleasant, as long as you can find real professionals (very rare) with whom you can share your knowledge and experience. Flexibility on the individual organization of the courses, unfortunately based on the laissez-faire and/or ignorance of the subjects dealt with.
What could be improved?
Personnel management boils down to pay slips without any interest for Human Resources. Salaries are lowest in university education (public or private). Management is based solely on finance with no interest to students or teachers. Very little professionalism in operations management. Absolute lack of motivation on the part of management. Practices that come very close to illegality. Almost dictatorial management style and lack of consideration for individuals. Under-utilization of available resources (human and material).
