What works well?

The working conditions and environment are assets, but most important of all is the shared motivation of staff and management to forge ahead and make a difference by making a decisive contribution to preventing and reducing addiction-related problems and suffering in Switzerland.

What could be improved?

As with any institution with a long history, change and adaptation to a constantly evolving environment are always a challenge. The Foundation has had its ups and downs, but is moving in the right direction. It is beginning to reap the rewards of in-depth work at various levels, both organizationally and in terms of thematic positioning.

What works well?

There's a very good atmosphere between teams and colleagues, without detracting from the seriousness required to fulfill the organization's important mission. Employees enjoy great flexibility in terms of working hours and telecommuting. The diversity of meaningful projects avoids routine. Every day is different.

What could be improved?

As in all areas, there is always room for improvement. Issues have been identified and prioritized by the new management team. On a personal level, I feel free to express my views and disagreements to my superiors. I think this is essential in such an organization. So I won't be using this space to do so!

What works well?

I've been a new employee at this foundation for a few months now, and I have to say that the working conditions are really optimal. Salaries and LPP are competitive, and the job content is rewarding and stimulating. There are also training opportunities that enable us to continually develop our skills. The work-life balance is perfectly respected, which is essential for me. The premises are well located and offer a pleasant working environment. Having accumulated enough experience in different companies before, I'm able to make an objective comparison and can say that the working climate here is serene and conducive to professional fulfillment. I really like it here. If I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate to look elsewhere, but I'm happy to say that's absolutely not necessary.

What could be improved?

As in any business, there are always areas for improvement. Recently, there has been a change in management, which is putting its heart into getting things moving in the right direction. This new management seems to be listening to employees and is actively seeking to improve internal processes. I'm confident that these efforts will make our working environment even better in the future.

What works well?

Organization of national importance, located close to the railway station. Good reputation in the media, with funders and partners. Interesting and committed themes

What could be improved?

The organization is extremely hierarchical, and management is very distant from employees, with a rather authoritarian management style. Moreover, management does not hesitate to sacrifice projects in order to assert its power. A management whose management incompetence is a textbook case. Impressive staff turnover (some 50 departures in 6 years, for a total of 35-40 employees), with general indifference on the part of management, human resources and the Board of Trustees. On the contrary, management takes advantage of these departures to cut jobs or hire younger people in less valued positions, in order to save money. Compared with the industry average, salaries are higher for a small caste (management and certain project managers), and significantly lower for the rest. Toxic working environment: series of sick leave and resignations (often without the resigning employee having found a new position). Management regularly commissions audits, assessments and diagnoses (thank you, objectivity), but nothing changes.

Nothing, the staff generally believe they are at Club Med all year round.
