Health Safety Management System Lead (Switzerland)

We are looking for a Health & Safety Management System Lead who is proactive, organized, and results-oriented to join our Global Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, based at our UCB site either in Belgium, or Switzerland.

About the Role

As the Health & Safety Management System Lead, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's global health and safety management system. You will ensure a consistent and robust management system is in place and effective at UCB sites, worldwide.

Who You Will Work With

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of countries head,site managers, safety experts, and manufacturing leaders. You will also interact with development teams, UCB sites worldwide, Suppliers and CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations).

What You Will Do

• You will develop and implement the global health and safety framework to enhance UCB's Health & Safety Management System.
• You will support and be responsible for the consistent application of health and safety standards and guidance across all sites.
• You will identify best practices at sites level and incorporate them into global health and safety programs.
• You will define and implement UCB's health and safety training and document management strategy.
• You will execute and oversee UCB's health and safety internal and external audit program, including the due diligence and suppliers’ selection processes.
• You will develop, implement and maintain metrics, dashboards and maturity assessment tools to monitor and improve health and safety performance.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• University degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial/multinational environment.
• Strong health and safety leadership.
• Confirmed experience in auditing for health, safety, and environmental as well as good knowledge of international health & safety certification standards.
• Structured, analytical and strategic thinking, capacity to operate as a transversal integrator.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and comprehensibly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.
