Specialist veterinarian/ Diplomate ECVN for Neurology 50-80 % (f/m/d)
This position is available as a part-time (50-80%) permanent role or as a locum engagement.
Your expertise for the well-being of our animal patients!
We are looking for a specialist veterinarian in Neurology, preferably a Diplomate or board eligible resident ECVN or ACVIM-Neurology, for our modern and well-equipped veterinary clinic with immediate effect. You are keen to deliver high quality neurology services to our patients and have the ambition to work in a clinic with other Diplomates and residents. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to provide the highest standard of care for our patients. We are looking for someone with the desire to share knowledge and help train other veterinarians such as interns and emergency veterinarians.
Your tasks:
- You will provide veterinary care through consultations, diagnostics and treatment of referred and in-house neurological patients for small animals
- Performance and interpretation of imaging procedures (e.g. CT, MRI).
- Collaboration with other specialist departments in the clinic for optimal patient care
- Building on a good relationship with our referring veterinarians, sharing knowledge and connecting by phone and email in order to develop the neurology referral service.
- Advice and support for patient owners and referral veterinarians
- Participation in the further training of colleagues and the expansion of the neurology department

- Completed studies in veterinary medicine and residency trained board eligible veterinarian (m/f/d) in neurology or Diplomate (ECVN/ACVIM).
- Confident handling of diagnostic procedures such as MRI and CT (or willingness to learn this).
- Passion for veterinary medicine and empathy in dealing with patients and their owners.
- Team player, strong communicator and service-oriented
