We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Back Office Operations Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the group Back Office in Switzerland in various activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in facilitating the processing of transactions and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Process operational activities in direct collaboration with the Back Office teams in the Swiss head office such as:
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process and reconcile daily transactions, including:
- Cash transactions
- Corporate Action&Income
- Security trades and transfers
- Account closings
- Data Management: Maintain and update client records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality including:
- Manage share register entries
- Generate tax reporting to clients
- Opening financial instruments in our database
- Maintain and update security data
- Compliance: Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in back office operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in back office operations or banking is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
