Our Global Product Strategy (GPS) team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving the strategic direction of our innovative product portfolio. As a member of the GPS team, you will be at the forefront of transforming groundbreaking scientific discoveries into accessible and impactful healthcare solutions for patients worldwide. As the Commercialization Strategy Leader for a specific Disease Area (DA), you will be responsible for driving the global commercialization strategy and achieving market leadership for our products through the Commercialisation Leadership Team, which you lead. You will collaborate closely with the US, Pharma International, Product Development (PD), and various key stakeholders in Global Product Strategy (GPS) to shape development decisions with commercialisation in mind as well as design integrated commercialization strategies that ensure maximum impact in our markets. You will ensure alignment to a strong global ambition and drive collaboratively to achieve it.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT), promoting a high-performance culture with accountability for driving exceptional collaboration across the team to deliver outstanding business outcomes.

Develop comprehensive commercialization strategies and set unified outcomes that will achieve the disease areas and product ambitions. Work closely with counterparts in the CLT to collaborate on aligning these and achieving them.

Act as the key interface between the CLT and Lifecycle Teams (LCTs), ensuring alignment and effective communication of the asset development strategy into a cohesive disease area commercialisation strategy.

Contribute a strong voice of the business in governance conversations and development processes (e.g., LSPC, DAS, Asset Strategies and LCT) to support robust decision-making E2E along the full value chain. Provide strategic input and insights into early-stage assets, ensuring end-to-end alignment across functions and stakeholders.

Guide allocation of resources and budgets to ensure the realization of ambitious business goals.
Who You Are

A high level of experience in commercial and strategic leadership roles in the pharma/biotech industry. An understanding of both market realities and development processes should be demonstrated.

Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise efforts and outstanding VACC leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire and mobilise the teams towards a vision of high ambition and winning together- building a culture of high performance, accountability, collaboration, diversity, inclusion and trust.

A System thinker who understands and leads with an enterprise and collective mindset; someone who understands and appreciates the realities of the development process as much as the US and PI environments in order to put all these pieces together to form global strategies.
