Research Management
At the University of Geneva, the Pharmaceutical Sciences Section of the Faculty of Science has a strong research base in fundamental and clinical pharmaceutical sciences. In the field of clinical research, the Section works closely with its partners in outpatient practice.
With specific expertise in medication adherence in outpatients with long-term illnesses, Marie Schneider’s research group is pursuing collaborative interprofessional research rooted in implementation science methodology.

In order to strengthen its young, dynamic and passionate team, the Medication Adherence and Interprofessional Research Group of the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Geneva is looking for a :
Research and Teaching Fellow 100%
Job description
This full-time position will enable the researcher to contribute to the development of the research group’s implementation science research and teaching by co-leading the implementation and evaluation of myCare Start, an innovative interprofessional intervention programme for dispensing pharmacies and primary care physicians in Switzerland to support ambulatory patients’ adherence to the initiation of long-term prescribed medication. The person will be required to help set up the Pharmaceutical Sciences Section’s pre- and post-graduate teaching in implementation sciences.

Qualifications and skills required- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Postdoctoral mobility experience of at least 2 years
- Active involvement in a national or international research network
- Dossier of scientific publications in implementation sciences
- Expertise in clinical research methods, quantitative and qualitative methods and behavioural science methods; knowledge in systems science
- Experience in teaching implementation sciences
- Strong interprofessional and patient partnership skills
- Excellent knowledge of English. Fluency in French or willingness to learn French would be an added advantage.
