Your role
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge in a dynamic CDMO Pharmaceutical Industry ?
We are seeking a Project Manager CAPEX (min. 10 years of experience) to lead capital investment projects ranging from 3M to 10M CHF at our Evionnaz site and contribute to projects at other locations.
As part of our Global Engineering Team, you will work closely with the local engineering teams to drive project execution and strengthen our CAPEX project management capabilities, particularly in EPCM methodologies (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management).
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and execute CAPEX projects (3M–10M CHF), ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to larger investment projects (>30M CHF) by managing sub-projects.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external EPCM partners.
- Ensure robust project governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee process design aspects, ensuring correct equipment selection, process integration, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Continuously improve project management methodologies, applying best practices and contributing to our global CAPEX execution strategy.
Your profile
- More than 10 years of experience in managing CAPEX projects within chemical, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or a regulated industry (3–10M CHF) or experience leading sub-projects for projects >20M CHF.
- Solid expertise in EPCM project execution, with hands-on experience in engineering, procurement, and construction management.
- Direct experience in EPCM is a strong asset, with knowledge of industry standards and working methodologies.
- Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control for large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of chemical process engineering, including process calculations, equipment sizing, and development of PFDs/P&IDs.
- Engineering degree, ideally in Process or Chemical Engineering, to support early project development.
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken); German is a plus.
