Our Packaging Development department (PackDev) is taking care of the packaging development for all B.Braun pharmaceutical product lines, such as large and small volume IV solutions, volume replacement solutions, parenteral nutrition, enteral nutrition, specialty drugs and generics, as well as irrigation solutions. Tasks & ResponsibilitiesIn the framework of the research activity of the Physical Characterization Laboratory of this department, we are looking for a 4 to 6 months internship with focus on the development and optimization of testing methods for plastic packaging, as well as support to instrument qualification and method validation.
Additionally, this internship will enable involvment and integration in the daily activity of the laboratory and offer the opportunity to acquire a broad knowledge on several state-of-the-art characterization techniques for plastic containers for pharmaceutical products.

Professional skills
- Materials science background (university level - master student), with focus in polymer science
- Good IT skills with ideally knowledge in statistical software (e.g.Minitab) and graphical programming software (e.g.Dasylab, Labview)
- Hands on approach and experience with laboratory works and test benches conception
- Strongly driven by a problem-solving mindset and scientific curiosity
- Demonstrating accurate and very rigorous way of working
- Focused and result driven
- Able to work independently while enjoying teamwork and collaboration with various partners
