JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing, including expertise in UI testing.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high quality software delivery through robust testing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams and testing implementation best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like QT Squish with Python on Windows System

• Integrate automation into CI/CD Pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git

Manual Testing

• Conduct detailed exploratory, functional, integration and regression testing

• Log and track defects in tools like JIRA to ensure timely resolution

Data Analytics

• Collaborate closely with internal project managers to understand data requirements and propose effective solutions in the form of informative dashboards and reports

• Engage with leadership to raise awareness about the benefits of data-oriented testing methodology, championing relevant initiatives in this direction

• Contribute to the creation of dashboards and reports that improve the overall governance and monitoring of our core deliverables

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript

• Proficiency in Windows platform

• Knowledge of test management tools like Zoho, Jira or Clouds Solutions

• CI/CD knowledge, experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab or Cloud Pipelines

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile Environments

• Knowledge of UI and testing tools

• Fluency in English and passion to work within a global R&D team

• Understanding of the basics of electrical engineering and electronics is an added advantage

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
