Position Overview
The Market Access Strategy Intern will be responsible for providing operational and tactical planning support. This role works with Market Access Strategy Managers to coordinate and execute initiatives related to reimbursement and product portfolio access. The position is intended to be a full-time opportunity over the course of the summer, contributing to Exact Sciences’ mission to reduce global cancer mortality.
This position is based in Madison, WI.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Build and maintain relationships with key Market Access, medical and commercial stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams directly and/or indirectly to deliver solutions while managing scope, risks, timeline, resources, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with Strategy team to support the consolidation of educational assets and presentations to develop a Market Access Playbook and catalogued training series.
- Conduct regular monitoring of medical policy and code status.
- Apply effective written and oral communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to interface and work effectively within team and department with changing priorities.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Support and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program
- Proficient computer skills including internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in projects with multiple overlapping deadlines and workstreams.
- Experience with project management tools such as: monday.com, smartsheet, Miro.
- Apply effective presentation skills.
Salary Range:
$34,000.00 - $54,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
