Job Description
The LGT Capital Partners Private Equity Off-Cycle Internship Program is a unique opportunity for top performing students to gain first experience across the entire private equity investment process. The successful candidate would ideally start in September/October 2025 for 4 – 6 months. For high performers a progression to a permanent role or the Private Equity Analyst Program is a possibility.
As an intern, you will join a team of experienced investment professionals fully dedicated to direct co-investments. Since 2010, our team has committed more than USD 6 billion to over 200 direct co-investments globally. Consideration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues is an integral part of our investment process and we have recently launched a dedicated impact fund focused on direct co-investments.
The internship will provide you with valuable insights into our business and hands-on experience. Among others, interns joining the Direct Co-Investment Team will:
- Assist the team in screening, analyzing, executing and monitoring co-investment opportunities;
- Perform financial analysis and modeling
- Conduct industry research and business analysis;
- Support the preparation of investment committee materials;
- Maintain internal databases ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor or Master degree program in business, economics, finance or similar;
- Internship experience in a similar role is beneficial;
- Advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of financial modeling;
- Excellent English writing and communication skills;
- Self-starter personality with an international mindset;
- Strong analytical skills with focus on details and high degree of quality.
