We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Upgrade Project Lead with a strong background in leading SAP upgrade projects, particularly within the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SAP S/4 processes, particularly within the Sales and Distribution (SD) environment, and a practical, results-oriented approach to project management. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of SAP functionality, coupled with leadership experience in driving project success while maintaining a focus on process optimization and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

SAP S/4 Upgrade Project Leadership: Lead and manage SAP S/4 upgrade projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation to closure. Provide guidance to teams and stakeholders to ensure timely, quality delivery in line with project objectives.

Process Expertise in SD Environment: Leverage a deep understanding of SAP processes, particularly in the SD module, to ensure the upgrade aligns with business needs and optimizes current workflows and functionalities.
- Module / Process Ownership: Bring a history of ownership and responsibility for SAP modules or business processes, ensuring that the transition during upgrades is smooth, and end users are supported effectively.
- Requirements:
- Experience with SAP S/4 upgrade projects in the industry as a leading PL
- Knowledge of processes, especially in the SD environment
- Ideally a past as module owner / process owner and experience in the daily use of SAP.
- Test management with Jira
- Pragmatic approach, i.e. not a project administrator
