We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Mixology Instructor to join our team at Les Roches Crans-Montana. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire the next generation of hospitality leaders. As a Mixology Instructor, you will guide students in mastering the art of cocktail making, blending technical skills with creativity, and providing them with the knowledge to excel in the industry. The Mixology Instructor also acts as a mentor, guiding students both academically and operationally, sharing expertise, passion, and a sense of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and deliver theoretical classes and practical workshops on mixology and beverages.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback according to Les Roches' standards and curriculum.
- Mentor students in both academic and operational aspects, helping them refine their skills and knowledge.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth operation of the outlet's daily activities, ensuring proper organization.
- Plan and manage special events and projects, ensuring high-quality service and coordination.
- Maintain hygiene and grooming standards and manage the financial aspects of the outlet, including cash counts and P&L analysis.
Requirements & Skills/Qualities:
- Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry.
- Formal training or certification in mixology is a plus.
- A pedagogical degree or certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teaching skills.
- Passion for mixology, hospitality, and education.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
